Installation#

You need Python 3.12 or newer. If you don’t have Python installed, we recommend uv.

mantispy is not on PyPI yet. Install the latest development version from GitHub:

pip install git+https://github.com/scverse/mantispy.git

read_plate(), jump_plate() and blobs() read images into SpatialData:

pip install 'mantispy[spatial]'

harmony() needs harmonypy:

pip install 'mantispy[harmony]'

map() runs copairs, which requires Python below 3.13:

pip install 'mantispy[map]'

With plotly installed, plots in a Jupyter notebook also draw an interactive version:

pip install 'mantispy[interactive]'
